From where is the light pink foam appearing? This is a worrisome finding for congestive heart failure - an unusual disorder in a 2 year old unless congenital (present at birth) heart disease exists.

Just light pink foam Vomiting
no nothing recorded at vets - would this have been picked up?
Expert:  Dr. Michael Salkin replied 1 year ago.

Vomiting the foam is a very different scenario that that type of foam appearing in the mouth or coming from the nose. In this case, the foam originates from the stomach and esophagus and it contains blood (hematemesis). Bleeding may arise from capillary breakdown secondary to forceful vomiting or bleeding may have existed prior to vomiting such as might be seen with a severe infection in the GI tract, thrombocytopenia (low blood platelets) or an anticoagulant rodenticide intoxication. Did he have access to such a poison?
