Hi there. My name is ***** ***** I'm happy to help you with your question today. Just like an in person consult, I have a couple questions of my own to help ensure I give you the best advice possible....

How long has Maggie Mae been ill?

Is she only congested?

Is she on any medications?

Does she have any health issues you're aware of?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
About 1 week no meds

Thanks for the additional information. I really appreciate it.

I wouldn't use the Vicks on her for a couple reasons....first, the petroleum base will likely give her diarrhea when she licks at it, and secondly, the menthol in it can cause chemical burns on their skin because the fur traps it.

A better option is to turn your shower on full blast with hot water and shut the bathroom door. When the room is nice an steamy, take Maggie Mae in there and sit with her for 10=15 minutes 2-3 times a day. This will help break up the congestion and help her breathe easier.

If she's not feeling a bit better by Monday, then you should have your vet take a peek at her and possibly get her on some antibiotics to get the infection cleared up.

I hope this helps.
