Customer Question

Hi I have a small dog we just rescued a few days ago. She was snooping in the kitchen and came across a vitamin d capsule 1000 IU. When I found her with it she had bitten into it and it was hard to tell how much she consumed. She weighs about 10 pounds.

Don't give it a second thought. Vitamin D3 in the form of cholecalciferol becomes toxic at ~1800 IU/lb or 18,000 IU for Bettie. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

Hi,
I'm just following up on our conversation about Bettie. How is everything going?
