Customer Question

We have a 9 week old golden retriever who has just started drooling excessively along with runny stools for the past few hours and urinating frequently. Her belly isn't bloated more than normal. What could be the cause? Is emergent care required?

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner. If you would still like aid can you tell me:

Has he had access to any toxins (ie plants, drugs, medications, chemicals, etc)?

Are his gums pink or pale/white?

Any changes in his breathing or in his mouth?

Does the urine look watery?
