The short answer is yes.

Rimadyl (Novox) as an NSAID, so it's safe to use with Tramadol, which is an opiate like Morphine.

That being said...if your dog is on anything like Prednisone, then you can't use the Rimadyl as they work against one another, but as long as the dog is only on Rimadyl, then yes, you can use the Tramadol as prescribed by your vet.
