Hello, thank you for using this site to help you. Did you see the dog eat something that it would have gotten caught?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No I didn't but my girlfriend said it could of been a stick from outside that's she had to fight off him

Is the dog conscious? What color are the gums?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yea he is and he's groaning continuously and drooling from his mouth too. His gums are a pink white mix

You should look down the throat to see if you can see anything. If not you can try the Heimlich Maneuver . I 'll direct you to a link on how to do this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yiQ_I5DU1M

If you cannot do this then you should seek emergency help from an ER vet

White gums are a sign of ill health and you should seek immediate help especially since he is in distress

At this point it may be beyond what you can do. If you are not one hundred percent sure the dog is choking then something else is going on. It may or may not have to do with the stick. But white gums are an emergency.

If he was not getting oxygen his gums would be blue or grayish not white so I think something else is going on
