My dog who is a Boston Terrier has been vomiting since 2:30

Customer Question

My dog who is a Boston Terrier has been vomiting since 2:30 today. She was quarantined at the local Animal Shelter for ten days. I picked her up at around 1:00 pm today, and she was whinning, shaking, and she is very skinny. I told the Animal Control officers that my dog looked skinny and sick and they just blew me off. She was quarantined for 10 days because she nipped a neighbor. As soon as I got her home, she vomited white mucus with white stuff in it. Then later today she vomited the white mucus with white stuff again. Then, tonight, she tried to eat some food, and vomited all her food up. Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner. If you would still like assistance, can you tell me:

Can she keep water down?

Are her gums nice and pink (not white/pale)? Moist or sticky?

If you press on her belly, does she have any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?

Could she have eaten anythingshe should not have (ie bones, stones, socks, toys, plants, chemicals, human meds, etc)?

Any diarrhea?
