Past two says, a sunken spot gas appeared on my <2yr old

Customer Question

Hi, past two says, a sunken spot gas appeared on my <2yr old female pit mix. Other dog slammed her to ground recently, they both play very rough. Also picked off something like a scab but may have been a tick? Thinking she needs yet another vet visit. Rescued in June as a 2 time county stray with uti issues and other food related issues, roots in dirt, eats anything she can, plants, lizards, frogs, looper locusts...from going without food while stray no doubt.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear you are worried about Honey. My name is Rebecca; I am a veterinarian and will do my best to help.

Where on her body is the sunken spot? How big is it? Is it painful to her?

How can I help with her?

It is on her back, just to the right side on spine, about 2/3's down her back from her shoulders, in front of hips, about the size of a small fist. She does not seem to be in pain when I touch it. She was still very active and playing rough since I noticed it 2-3 days ago. [uploaded 2 pics] (I had issues with this website on my phone last night and gave up to wake up and see I was already billed, so....lets continue if you are still there??

Guess I need to know if she needs to go to my vet (low cost) for exam. Could have been tick, potentially, picked some scabs off her, but she had several from my dogs biting on each other while playing rough recently, usually. (i'm getting vibrate/shock collars to better control them). Or could be from rough play - they reared up on two legs then my bigger dog slammed her down and backwards (while rump on ground) about the time this appeared. thank you!

this is so stupid...cancel this nonsense...I will just go to vet like normal dog owners, which I bet is the answer 99% of the time anyway.
