My miniature schnauzer had a bump (was biopsied at one point

Customer Question

Hi, my miniature schnauzer had a bump (was biopsied at one point and came back negative) that I noticed had two "holes". In putting very slight pressure on it, it burst. I have cleaned it off and washed the area. Is there anything I need to worry about?

Hello. Thanks for the question.

It sounds like this is/ was a benign cyst. These can come and go. They can drain if you squeeze them. It may recur, but typically a warm compress and draining it will get it to eventually go away for good. It's not something I would worry about if the biopsy came back benign.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
