I already induced vomiting with peroxide.

Good work! Thankfully, that beta-blocker is well-tolerated in dogs without pre-existing heart conditions. Practically speaking, 2.5-10 mg per dog and up to 80 mg per dog when necessary has been administered. It's unlikely that your Pom will exhibit any adverse effects but hypotension as evidenced by bradycardia (slow heart rate), lethargy and somnolence might arise. The liver reduces systemic bioavailability to just 2-27% in dogs thus making oral administration especially safe.

She seems less lethargic now

That's good to hear. The half-life of this drug ranges from 3/4 to 2 hours. Once that time period passes with her remaining stable, she should remain stable. Please continue our conversation if you wish.

Great update! Thank you. I can't set a follow-up in this venue and so would appreciate your returning to our conversation with an update - even after rating - at a time of your choosing.
