Customer Question

My dog is drinking incessantly. She's 13. Water intake has increased over the past 7 months, and very much in the past month. We've switched food twice and no change. Lab work shows low specific gravity in urine, 0.7 thyroid test. The one hour and the 8 hour Cushings tests were "inconclusive." Her labs show no kidney problem and no glucose problem. Suggestions? She just had a full thyroid panel today and re-check of urine.

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Can you upload a copy of all of her test results to our conversation? I understand that you might not have a copy of the results at home but her vet should be able to give you one which you could scan into your computer and give me the link or you can photograph the page(s) and upload the images by using the paperclip icon in the toolbar above your message box (not if you're using the chrome browser) or by using an external app such as imgur.com or dropbox.com.
