I accidentally gave my 63 lb 11 year old husky an extra dose

Customer Question

I accidentally gave my 63 lb 11 year old husky an extra dose of deramaxx. He just started taking it yesterday. He's sup to get half a 75mg tab but when I was cutting the tab I als threw in a whole one (which I thought was his cosequin. So he had about 112 mg with food). Will this harm him?

Hi there!
My name is ***** ***** I would be happy to help you with your question about your dog.
I have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind answering:
- Other than pain medications and cosequin for arthritis, does Lee have any other health issues or is he on any other medications?
Is this something he takes regularly twice a day, or is it on an as-needed basis for pain?
