My 40 pound dog my have ingested 4 pieces of sugar-free gum that did not contain xylitol what should I do

Hello and thank you for using this site to help you. The original expert you asked for is not online and I am sure you are worried about your pup. If the gum did not contain Xylitol then it probably contained aspartame or sorbitol and this is not toxic to dogs. Though your pup may get an upset stomach from eating the gum, unlike Xylitol there should be no other ill effects.
