Hi there... I was just giving my 30lb doggy her dinner.. and stupid me had a cigarette in my mouth, as i was leaning over her food bowl, ash (only ash) fell into the bowl and she ate it.. it was the amount of ash you would flick into an ash tray if you were smoking.. IS she alright??? so mad at myself!
Hello and thank you for asking your question. My name isXXXXX will try to help.
As long as she did not burn her mouth, she should be fine.
You can look in her mouth, with a flashlight, to see if you see any signs of a burn.
There should not be enough nicotine, in one flick of ash, for it to cause a problem.
If she ate a few cigarettes, or a lot of cigarette butts, then I would worry about nicotine toxicity.
I hope this helps.

I can not imagine that the ash tastes very good but we have all seen dogs eat worse things.
Good thing she did not try to eat a lit cigarette.
