how much to feed a 6 month old puppy basset
Hello,
How long do you have her?
What and how much does she eat now?
Is she spayed?
Thanks,
Terri
we have had her 4 months and got her from the shelter, yes she is spayed, up to date on shots and generaly a very nice dog.
Dear friend,
May God bless you for saving a shelter dog!!
A six month old is still a puppy so its best to feed her twice to three a day.
One half to one ounce per lb.
Puppies need twice the calories of an adult of the same breed:

Once in the morning and again at dinner time.Plus a midday snack.
These are the top rated foods:

Please let me know how she is doing.
