my dog ate one pyridium tab. He is about 22 pounds (a fox terrier). Do I need to induce vomiting?

Welcome to Just Answer. They pyridium tab will get converted into acetaminophen in the body. This can possibly be toxic. Was this a 100 mg or 200 mg tab?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
100 mg
Ok. The 100 mg tab given his weight is not at a level that should be requiring decontamination. This dose is 10 mg / kg. We begin to worry at 20 mg / kg. So at this point, I would just keep him quiet and let him rest.
