she shakes her head as if something is bothering her in her ears, both her ears are now tilted down, I checked for ticks and did not seem to find any. She does not feel warm, but she is also closing her eyes alot and as I stated she has had diarrhea for about 2 days.
Hi and welcome to Just Answer! What breed is she?Do you notice any odor or redness to her ears?
she is a tiger cat and there is no odor or redness
some cats can get yeast infections of their ears or low grade bacterial infections. Problems like this will cause very mild or no odor but many cats will either shake their heads or kick at their ears a bit. cats are really sensitive so I won't recommend any sort of cleaner for her. In this case it is best if she gets checked by your vet. They will look into her ears and they may take a swab of her ears and look under the microscope for any signs of infection. Some cats will hold their ears down if they don't feel that well which could go along with the diarrhea. For the diarrhea, you can try some bland food for a day or so (like jar meat baby food or you can try cooking your own chicken and rice) but if it continues or you see blood, then again, she would need to see your vet. I hope this helps you a bit!Dr. P
