Customer Question

Will catnip hurt my dog? Will it affect her? We have a new cat and bought her a cat nip toy. Our shitzu keeps on taking the catnip toy from the cat.

HiCustomer

Because catnip is essentially just a dried herb and is non-toxic to animals, your little Shitzu isn't in any danger from laying with the cat's toy...at least, not from the catnip...the kitten might pose a danger if she realizes the dog keeps stealing her toys. : )

I hope this helps!!

Thank you. The Shitzu has been taking all toys from the cat, when she can. She seemed to like the catnip toy more than the others and I was worried the catnip was affecting her, or could pose a danger. You put my mind at ease.
