Hi, you can give ensure to dogs, but I'm wondering why your dog is refusing to eat.. is she having diarrhea or vomiting and how old is your dog.. how long has it been since eating and is your dog taking in any water? you can also buy a supplement called nutrical gel that is a high calorie gel for dogs that are off food while recovering from illness.. any other things going on.. trouble swallowing? cough?    your optional information did not show up at first ... he is 10... and you have used a/d - he is refusing that and scrambled eggs? have you tried warming the a/d as the smell is stronger when warmed and that will help them want to eat it.. the a/d would be better for him than the ensure.. you can also give pedialyte for hydration.. if he is not holding down or accepting water or food, has a vet seen him, as dehydration will quickly make a dog feel very unwell. one thing - do not give chocolate flavored ensure if you do try that..but again, I would try the warmed a/d or maybe some warmed chicken or beef baby food a try as well...
