DearCustomer

Pumpkins are non-toxic too dogs. I have actually used cooked pumpkin and pumpkin pie filling for certain fiber responsive conditions in dogs. It can be safely consumed but dogs.

I have read an article about a type of squash that caused some toxicity in a dog. It was one of the decorative squash that people buy for decorations at halloween and thanksgiving time. In this case the dog has vomiting diarrhea, fast heart rate and other major clinical signs associated with it.

You are safe with the common pumpkin.
