Trying to overdose him at home is apt to lead to more suffering for him. Many drugs do not work the same for dogs. Meds you try might cause him pain or send him into convulsions etc.
The euthansia solution used by vets is very carefully formulated to cause a quick and painless stopping of the dog's system and really can't be duplicated at home.
If you want him to pass at home though you could see if a house call vet would come do that. You might find one near you with this site
