CAN YOU GIVE CYCLOBENZAPRINE TO DOGS FOR ANXIETY

I have Flexeril for myself for muscle spasms but I occasionally use it for sleep. I am expecting a thunder storm. My dog is 8 years old and 60#. Can I use this to calm him down?

Hello,

The best thing for this problem is Melatonin for Thunderstorm Phobias. It has proven effective and is very safe. The Flexeril can be toxic to your dog and should not be given under any circumstances other than by order of a Vet. I will give you some information on Melatonin. Joan
