Customer Question

Ihave given my dogs raw bones in the past but wanted to know if there is any additional risk in giving them boiled beef bones that were used to start beef stock?

There is always a risk in giving any bones however cooked bones would have more of a tendency to break apart when chewed causing pieces to splinter and this can puncture the intestinal lining causing serious illness. It can also damage the throat, esophagus, and stomach. Here is more on the danger of bones.
