my mini jackrussle has very weepy eye with sleep like gunk in them
Hi Ashlee,
Generally when there is ocular discharge there is an underlying health issue and any ocular discharge should be checked out. Conjunctivitis, tear duck problems, bacterial infection, lens luxation or corneal defects can cause the eyes to run. Your vet may want to stain the eyes and check for corneal defects, as well he may want to take a pressure reading on the dog. The XXXXX XXXXX is pron to lens luxation so I would bring the dog in for an exam.
