what to use to sedate a dog to clip her nails

This answer was rated:

She is too feisty and won''t sit still to clip nails and need something to calm her down for this procedure

HiCustomer

You can try some benadryl as this makes them a bit calmer or you can try some over the counter melatonin as this helps to calm them down. Generally nail cutting is a fight with most dogs and if you can afford the ten dollars to have a vet tech do it at the office it is well worth it.
