HI jeca,

It is possible, but unlikely, as there are treatments for dogs just as there are for humans. However you should alert yourself to the seizures and recognize when you need to seek vet help. For instance if a seizure last more than five to ten minutes, happens two or more times in a twenty four hour period, or if the dog has another seizure before completely recovering from a previous one then you should seek vet help.

I am going to direct you to site on this so you can get a better understanding of what is going on.
