My dog ate some wood chips. Will this harm her

Hi Missmarty,

Wood chips can cause an intestinal obstruction if a lot of them are ingested. You can read about this here:

In addition, if the wood splintered, it might puncture the gastrointestinal tract causing peritonitis.

Since your dog is vomiting and lethargic, I would have the dog seen so it can be determined if a blockage is present or not. Hope this helps.
