How long should puppies stay with their mother before they can go to other homes?
Hello,Weaning should begin naturally around 4 weeks of age as they begin to develop their teeth and pups will and should nurse until at least 6 weeks of age. Pups should not be separated from their mother until 8 weeks old though some breeders will do it sooner. Puppies should remain with the litter this long to ensure proper weaning and social development. Puppies that are taken from the litter and mother earlier than this are known to have an increased amount of behavioral problems.http://www.petcaretips.net/weaning_puppies.htmlHope this helps.
