Hi Lalokarmax, I'm not sure I would say it is territorial. Most dogs are territorial to some degree. Males will become aggressive toward other males who approach a female in heat. Females are also frequently more aggressive toward other females when they are in heat. Usually in planned breeding, the female is taken to the males territory.
