my dog has a lump on her chest- it is very hard and not moving. what could it be?

If it is a hard mass, then it could be a tumor. There are some bone tumors and cartilage tumors that can show up on the chest wall. YO shoul dhave your vet check this to make sure what it is. If it is a bone tumor, then the sooner it is removed the better the chances of preventing spread of the cancer.
