A lot depends on the kind of snake.
A snake that has venom in its fangs can cause a problem if swallowed. If it was a poisonous snake see your vet with the dog.
A nonpoisonous snake is just some extra protein for a hungry dog. It might cause some gastric upset due to the unusual meal and the rough scales etc but otherwise it shouldn't be an issue.
