The easiest way to tell if a dog is blind (at home) is to take cotton balls and drop them on each side of he dogs head. They will not hear them when they hit the floor so if they look towards them they DID see them. They may see them from the good eye so this could be tricky if the dog has sight in one eye rather than being totally blind. Your BEST best is a vet exam as sudden blindness can sometimes be reversed if caught early enough due to the cause of it.
