Customer Question

My bichon is 11 years old and has moles all over her body. They have brown gooey stuff in them. I cleaned them out with a Qtip but now they seem like they have even more. Did I do something wrong? Is it ok to clean her moles?

This sounds like it might be a bacterial skin infection or a sebaceous gland problem.
You should see your vet as she may need oral antibiotics or prescription shampoo or other meds to help clear this up.
You can try cleaning the spots with hydrogen peroxide and using neosporin ointment or triple antibiotic ointment on them but if she has a lot of these spots seeing your vet is your best bet.
Hope this helps you!
