Cosequin has an excellent safety profile. Safety studies in dogs demonstrated no adverse effects of Cosequin administration on the kidneys, bladder, liver, or other organs. There are no known interactions between Cosequin and any drug or other supplement, and Cosequin alone has not been reported to cause incontinence. I would recommend checking with your vet as to what may be causing the incontinence. If you would like to discuss this further, please call(NNN) NNN-NNNNbetween 9:00 am and 5:30 pm eastern time Monday thru Friday to speak with a member of the Nutramax (the makes or Cosequin) veterinary technical services department.
While studies have not shown that it is a problem, quite a few others have reported this as well.
