Get Your Dog Care Questions Answered by Experts
Well, your next step is taking your dog to a vet in the morning. They will want to run some xrays and do some exams. Intestinal blockage is life threatening so I do recommend you go in tomorrow. There are other less serious things that can present similarly, but a trip to the vet will be needed.
Well, I am sorry you are disappointed...many times I never know how specific a person wants to discuss problems. Since your question seemed to focus on what you thought was an intestinal blockage...I tend to think you know the tendency of your dog to eat foreign objects. If your dog is a chewer and is now vomiting and not passing stool...I agree that a partial obstruction may be an issue. Nothing I can tell you online is going to remedy that.
I will say that illness is rather marked with intestinal obstruction...so the dog wouldn't be acting "fine".
Also remember that if the dog is not keeping food down...there is nothing to pass out the other end.
