Customer Question

He acts like he is drunk and wobbly
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Did the cat have a fall?
Customer: Purring now and just wants to hide face in my chest. Not at all like him.
JA: The Veterinarian will ask you more detailed questions to find out what is causing this. It might be a fracture. The Veterinarian will know what to do. What is the cat's name and age?
Customer: Name: Breach. Age 6 mo
JA: How old is Breach?
Customer: Six months
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Breach?

Hello,

I am sorry Breach is not feeling well.

Is he an indoor kitty?

Is there any chance he ingested plants, medication or antifreeze?

Expert:  Terri replied 3 months ago.

Assuming Breach has not ingested a toxin, he may have an ear infection that is affecting his equilibrium.

This is similar to our motion sickness and causes the cat to feel unbalanced.

You can give him 13.5 mg of dramamine to relieve his symptoms.

Wait 30 minutes and offer mild food.

Please let me know how he is doing. Just reply here or if you prefer, we can speak on the phone.

Please be so kind as to rate my answer with positive feedback, as that is the only way I receive recognition from the site for my assistance. Thank you!
