As the vet translator was not very clear as I dont speak his language and the dosing was somewhat lost in translation. Hello,

I am sorry Chubby hurt his leg.

The medication you were given

Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation.

Read more here:

https://www.vetinfo.com/dexamethasone-for-cats.html

It should only be given once a day until the ray tomorrow. Then Chubby will be scripted a daily dose with a weaning schedule as it is unsafe to stop the medication abruptly.

have the DVM write down the scripted dose. Then we can interpret if there is a language problem.

I hope Chubby feels better very soon.

Kind regards,

Terri
