My cat has been leaving feces stains on the litter box mat

Customer Question

My cat has been leaving feces stains on the litter box mat and other areas of the house after going to the bathroom in the litter box. It's not diarrhea but seems like she's having lose stools.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the cat's name and age?
Customer: Roxy, about 9 months old.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Roxy?
Customer: She did have some some kind of bacteria virus in her stool and couple months ago but she's already been treated for that.

I am sorry Roxy has been having loose stools. It can be dietary related.

Feed her human baby food chicken with no onion or garlic for 48 hours.

Add one tablespoon of rice cereal or boiled white rice to each jar.

After 48 hours switch to pate canned food with cereal or rice for 48 more hours.

in addition give her one half tsp a day of plain yogurt for good bacteria.

Please let me know how she is doing.
