Hello,I am sorry your little boy is having trouble. What foods does he eat?Is he often constipated?Did he have pancreatitis last Christmas? After your reply please give me a few minutes to type detailed answer. Thanks,'Terri

Hard stool is only concerning if the cat is constipated. We usually recommend milk because it is a natural laxative. BUT NOT if he had pancreatitis. In your little boys case, I recommend discontinuing all dry food. Instead, feed him canned only with a tablespoon of warm water added to increase hydration.Add salmon oil to his food once a dayhttp://www.petco.com/product/109074/Wild-Alaskan-Salmon-Oil-Cat-Food-Supplement.aspxHe can also have laxatone or petromalt every other day. Please let me know if these suggestions help. Please be so kind as to rate my answer with positive feedback; that is the only way I receive credit for my assistance. Thank you very much!Kind regards,'TerriProviding a positive rating will not end our conversation, should you need me for any follow-up.
