Aloha! You're speaking to Dr. Michael Salkin
I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Bactricillin contains penicillin G benzathine 150,000 units/ml and penicillin G procaine 150,000 units/ml. Benzathine can be ignored because it doesn't reach effective blood levels in cats. I would dose the procaine at 10,000 units/lb (90,000 units for a 9 lb Tuna) given intramuscularly once daily. 90,000 units = 0.6 ml and it's likely to sting! It should be continued for a minimum of 5 days if I were treating a bite wound. Please let me know for what you're thinking of dosing this product.

Hi Anna,
I'm just following up on our conversation about Tuna. How is everything going?
