Hello,
I am sorry Smokey is not feeling well.
What did he eat just prior to vomiting?
Is he able to urinate and defecate fine?
Indoor kitty?
Thanks,
Terri

He only ate his regular dry cat food. I checked his litter box and there was both urine and stool. He is a indoor cat

Thanks so much for your very helpful reply. It sounds as though Smokey's food did not agree with him.
Since he is an indoor kitty we can rule out eating something outdoors.
You can give him one quarter of a ten mg pepcid a/c (famotidine) in soft food.

I usually add it to one tablespoon of baby food chicken (no onion or garlic.
Wait 20 minutes and offer him the rest of the jar.
No dry food today, only baby food or pate canned cat food to rest his tummy.
Please let me know how he is doing. Just press reply and I will be here for you.
Love,
Terri
