Hi Tammy,
I am so sorry your fur baby has been throwing up.
Can you please tell me if she is eating dry food?
Is she moving her bowels normally?
After your reply please give me a few minutes to type detailed answer.
Thanks,
Terri

I assume she is using the bathroom but this morning when she threw up it was a white foam.

Hi Tammy,
Thanks so much for your very helpful reply.
Most vomiting in cats is caused by a dry food diet,
Please read articles written by a feline vet:

Throwing up white foam means she is swallowing her own saliva. That is an indication of nausea.
You can give her one quarter of a ten mg pepcid A/C (famotidine) in soft food or baby food with no onion or garlic:
http://www.petplace.com/drug-library/famotidine-pepcid/page1.aspx
I usually add it to a tablespoon of chicken or turkey baby food. The I wait 30 minutes and offer the rest of the jar.
Do not feed any dry or wet with chunks, pieces of shreds until there is no vomiting for 48 hours. Feed either smooth pate canned food or baby food.
Please let me know how she is doing. Just press reply and I will be here for you.
Love,
Terri

She doesn't like wet food should I try meat as a part of her diet.
Expert:  Terri replied 1 year ago.
You can try boiled chicken, baby food but not as permanent diet, tuna or try a natural dry food with no corn, gluten or additives.

Savannah's also do well on a raw diet.
Until she has not thrown up for 48 hours try to get her to eat just baby food or boiled chicken.
Please let me know how she is doing. I hope she feels better very soon.
Love,
Terri
