Hello,I am sorry your question did not come through can you please tell me what is going on with Lily so I can better assist you.

Also can you tell me how long you have been using the eucylptus oil in the vaporizer?

Customer replied 295 days and 7 hours ago.

The question was:My cat was diagnosed with asthma a little less than two weeks ago....she was given a cortizone shot and the asthma attacks stopped then, but two days later, now she has sneezing fits.Called vet and he gave me an antihistamine...totally drugged up,my poor cat did not completely discontinue the seezinng. So i bought a vapor./humudifier and put her in bathroom half hour to 45 min...it seems to help..but sneezing not gone..she does not go outside, nor do i spray anything, smoke or use harsh chemicals...I it NORMAL that after the shot she stras with the seezing fits? thank you

Thank you for the additional information .

The first thing we want to do is stop the eucalyptus oil, this is toxic to cats and when inhaled in large quantities can cause respiratory irritation and pneumonia could result. This is even more dangerous in a cat that has asthma.

One of the most common reasons for sneezing in cats is the Herpes virus( not contagious to humans) .While the shot would not cause this the stress of going to the vet will often cause a flair up.
For this we suggest starting a L lysine supplement . You can get this at any health food store or pet shop. 500mgs per day for 7 days then 250 mgs per day .
You can also get this in treat form and one treat contains the daily recommended amount.'

Another possible cause could be allergies and for that the antihistamine should help it just may be that your vet needs to lower the dose so I would give them a call in the morning.

Another thing that may help is to use saline nose drops. We recommend Little Noses for infants. 2-3 drops in each side of the nose twice daily.

I hope this helps , please reply back if you have additional questions or concerns
