Optional Information: Pet's Sex: Female Pet's Age: 3 Already Tried: hairball remedy
Hello, and welcome to Just Answer.Ingestion of a foxtail is very dangerous to a cat, due to it's pointy barbs. If your cat is wheezing, it's important to have her evaluated in person by a vet as soon as possible. There is no home remedy for foxtail ingestion, and even if her symptoms seem to subside, the foxtail can still do damage, internally. If it is now after hours for you, please bring your cat to the nearest ER vet center for evaluation and treatment.I hope all will be well with your furry girl!
she had food and the weezing stopped seems ok ?
Hi again, and thanks for your reply. As I mentioned, it's not unusual for the symptoms to stop, but this doesn't mean that the foxtail has not done/is not doing damage internally. If the wheezing stopped after she ate, that's good, but you need to continue to monitor her and it is strongly advised that you have her evaluated by a vet in person, as soon as you can.I hope she will be fine!
