Is he drinking excessively?

How is his body condition - normal, overweight or underweight?

Is he peeing in inappropriate places?

Or is it just excessive amounts?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.

I have not noticed him drinking more than any of the other cats.

He is a good healthy weight.

I just got him fixed about 3 months ago and then this started.

He pees on bags, in boxes, on rugs, on towels lol anywhere.

Okay, the most common thing that would cause this behavior is a urinary tract infection. You would have to go to your vet to confirm this with a urinalysis. If this is the case, a round of antibiotics will take care of the problem.

The other possibility is that there is a behavioral component involved, but you would have to rule out that there is a medical problem first. It would be my suspicion that mey have have a urinary tract infection which can be cleared up and this problem would be resolved.
