Hello, My cat has degloving injuries to his tail and paw.

Resolved Question:

My cat has degloving injuries to his tail and paw. We cant afford surgery. Is there anything we can do to help him out? Will he heal if we clean it with peroxide and apply neosporin and bandage it?

Does his tail look like this?

Here is a picture:

Does it look like that?

Yes. It looks like that from one end of the tail to the tip. Its a strip of skin that got striped off. It does not bleed though its dry.

Dear friend,

I am so sorry your baby is hurt.

Go to walmart or pool store and buy a styrofoam pool noodle:

Cut pieces to fit his unjuries. Then cut open one side. Slip in his tail or foot and tape on top and bottom.

That will protect it till it heals.

Change daily and apply neosporin underneath.

Please let me know how he is doing.

Best wishes for him,
