You can give Benadryl at a dosage of .5 mg per pound every 8 hours. I wouldn't use benadryl unless you have to as it is bitter and can cause excessive drooling in cats. An alternative medication for allergy type reactions would be Chlor-Trimeton. The dosage for a cat would be 1/4 tablet twice daily as needed. Hope this helps.
