What is the coldest temperature domestic cats can survive in their homes

It depends on the breed of cat. Some breeds are developed to handle a great deal of cold weather and have the coats for it and others are not.
The Norwegian forest cat for example
would handle cold better than a Sphinx!
'Surviving' is also different than 'living in'. While short term tolerance of cold is possible, long term a cat would need really good food and water supply, as well as a sheltered area, to keep warm with its body heat (a den) if it was going to have to handle real cold constantly below zero.
Hope this helps you!
