Emergency treatment is immediately necessary to stabolize the pelvis. Surgery is the only option in many cases as the pelvis cannot be immobilized in a cast or splint. You need to have your cat seen as soon as possible to avoid further injury and trauma to the pelvic area, and after surgery they will prescribe oral analgesics once discharged. If they determine that surgery is not needed strict exercise restriction may be the only required course of action but until you know for sure if it is fractured or broken you will not know the best course of treatment. I suggest that if you think the pelvis is broken you get your cat immediate care.
