I found a young pigeon that has been on my block for approx. a week. It can't fly and has a limp. At times it leans to the side. What can I do or where can I go for help close to where I live ?

Great. Thanks for the additional information. I really appreciate it.

So the best thing to do is to contact a wildlife rehabilitator in your area. I did some research and found some here:

If this were me, I'd start contacting some of these folks. They'll be able to help you find the right people to come out and get the bird and rehab it before they release it.

Even if these people aren't right near you, they'll still be able to point you in the right direction of one who can.

I hope this helps.
